Brandy's Thought for the Day

People who think that a normal pregnancy is ten months can't count. That or they don't understand that no matter how the doctors and books choose to count it, you are not actually pregnant until sperm meets egg. To prove my point, let me explain how I calculated my due date:

Date of Conception + 9 Months - 1 Week = D-Day

Now, I'm not counting going past your due date, but since they induce at two weeks past your due date, the most you could be pregnant is nine and a half months. Okay, I'm glad I got that off my chest. By the way, I suck at math.

Silly people that say you are pregnant for 10 months say that because its 40 weeks... but the problem with their math is simply that a month has more than 4 weeks (or 28 days... except for february...) so you see all the extra days in each month add into the four weeks that everyone seems to think is this mysterious tenth month of pregnancy.... but of course you already figured that out... and once again, I know this is totally way way way old news seeing as you posted this over a year ago!
